Provides food boxes

The 3rd Saturday of each month, the Houston Asian Jaycees make a trip over to the Houston Food Bank where we pick up boxes of food. We then head over to the Goldberg Towers where we distribute the food boxes the to seniors.

This is a great program and the seniors are always very happy to see us, and waiting in line when we pull into the driveway.

Providing food for the seniors is something that makes you feel really good! Those who are living here are on very low income, so the small 1-2 hours you spend to help, makes all the difference in the world!

There are 2 teams:
The 1st, usually 2 people, head over to the Houston Food Bank to load the boxes on their vehicle.
The 2nd, everyone else, meet at the towers at 10:30a till the vehicle arrives. We then distrubute the food boxes.

We provide this service the 3rd Saturday of each month. If you have an interest in coming out to help, please contact Lizzie Huyhn. Thank you!
