International Members Appreciation Dinner

Houston Asian Jaycees would not be where we are today without the support and dedications of our wonderful members. So as a token of our deep appreciation, HAJCC is hosting an Appreciation Dinner for all members on August 28th, 2009!!
The Dinner will consist of different wonderful dishes from different countries, all provided by the officers of HAJCC.
The Dinner is EXCLUSIVELY FOR FREE for ALL PAID HAJCC MEMBERS AND THEIR PLUS ONE! So mark your calendar and come out for great foods, drinks, and a great time!!
In Addition, HAJCC is always taking every opportunity to give back to the Greater Houston Community; and this month, we are raising school supplies for Lakewood Elementary School. So we are asking you all, if you can on that night, to please bring some school supplies you’d like to donate. They are all going to young students to better their future…because their future is our future.

Office Max was offering $0.01 (yep, 1 cent) for 24 pack crayons! and $1/spiral notebooks and $0.20 notebook paper. Yay! I scooped up a bunch of the basics.
25 – crayons (24 colors)
36 – packs of notebook filler paper
24 – wide rule spiral notebooks
4 – 72 pack pencils
I think they'll still need this stuff and glue, rulers, markers…who knows what else! Gonna sound silly, how about tissue boxes, sanitary gel you squirt on your hands to cleanse them?
