Houston Asian Jaycees is one of the most active chapter in Texas in term of helping community with various projects that benefit Houston Community and foreign countries who suffer disasters. Our chapter get together more than 2 times each month to work as team for the community projects depend on the needs and types of events . These are list of 2009 and current projects we have been involved :
1. Food for senior
2. Fund-raising projects for disaster relief such as Katrina support , Galveston relief, Taiwanese Bowling fund-raising, Haiti fund, …
3. Food serving for Homeless shelters, Women shelters, Wheel on Meals, and others
4. Nursing home visit
5. Support the troop by sending thank-you cards, and organizing fund-raising fund.
6. Relief for Life
7. Christmas gifts for needy children
8. School Supply Drive
9. Blood Drive
10. Others
